Project layout and design

From the brewery to the restaurant, we can assist you with the layout and design of your brewery, kitchen, and bar.  Because we have worked and managed every aspect of the brewery and restaurant, our experienced “boots on the ground” perspective allows us to deliver an efficient layout that will reduce operational costs, and provide ease to daily operations.  Our team works directly with you, your architect, design and engineering team to offer valuable insight that will get it right without endless revisions that lengthen the timeline of your project. 

We also supply your team with an equipment schedule that includes customized brewery, kitchen, and bar items that will be included on the plans for your project.  This spreadsheet allows you to provide the design, architecture, and engineering team valuable planning information on all specialized equipment that allows you to swiftly move closer to a permitted set of construction plans without having to procure your equipment too early in the project.  Some of the contributions we are able to make to the design and engineering team include:

  • Electrical loads, locations, and proper NEMA classification for every single major component of the brewery, bar, and restaurant 

  • Gas loads

  • Water and sewer/floor drain requirements 

  • Cut sheets/shop drawings of all equipment

  • Weights of brewery equipment for floor engineering

  • Steam requirements

  • Chilled glycol requirements 

  • Ventilation requirements 

Most architects and engineers are not skilled in these specific areas and you don’t want their first rodeo to be your project.  This simple to use spreadsheet is easy to update from estimates to actual hard numbers as you contract all of your equipment.
